80 quilts and 36 coverlets, made between 1800 and 1976, will be on display. They are on loan from 13 local museums and 16 private collections. This is a rare opportunity to view these fragile textiles. Quilts and coverlets are not only beautiful reminders of our history, but reflect the lives of Bergen County's women and men through the years.

Kay Yeomans, curator of collections at the Hopper-Goetschius House will lead the Coverlet Gallery Tour; she will discuss the evolution of Bergen County coverlet style and the images used by the local weavers.
